The Mission
Faith that meets you where you are.
Pace with Grace is a Bible app for Gen Z. Devotionals and Scripture for what you're actually facing: anxiety, identity, purpose, loneliness, and the rest. No cookie-cutter Christianity, no toxic positivity, no platitudes.
What we believe
Honest, not preachy
We don't dismiss anxiety as a faith problem. We don't tell you to just pray more. The Bible itself has whole books written from inside grief, doubt, and despair, and we follow that lead. Every devotional starts where you actually are, not where someone says you should be.
Scripture, in context
Every verse is unpacked with the historical and cultural context of when it was written. Paul wrote Philippians from a prison cell. David wrote half the Psalms while running for his life. That context changes how the text reads, and we never skip it.
Mental-health-aware
Anxiety, depression, addiction, and shame are not faith failures. They are human experiences that some of the most faithful people in Scripture also lived through. We name therapy, medication, boundaries, and community as compatible with faith, not opposed to it.
Real talk, no churchy
Phrases like 'just let go and let God,' 'God has someone better,' and 'everything happens for a reason' are well-meaning but often unhelpful. We avoid them. The voice is conversational, vulnerable, and built for people who are spiritual but skeptical of the Christianity they grew up with.
Who's behind it
Pace with Grace is built by an individual maker, not a corporation or a church. The app is designed for the version of faith that survives doubt, deconstruction, therapy, and the actual mess of being in your twenties.
The site you're reading is the writing arm: short devotionals, long-form guides, and topic-by-topic Scripture for whatever you're facing this week. The mobile app is in development. Join the waitlist below and you'll know the moment it goes live.
