Your Value Isn't a Scorecard

Key Verse · Matthew 10:30 (NIV)
“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
Social feeds love numbers. Likes, followers, views. They turn worth into a scoreboard. When the count dips, you feel less. The Bible flips the script.
Jesus said this while traveling through a hostile region. He was addressing disciples who were about to face persecution. He wanted them to know that even the smallest detail of their being was known and cared for.
“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
Numbered. Not measured. It's a record, not a rating. God keeps an inventory of every strand because you matter, not because you perform.
That changes the conversation. Instead of "How many likes did I get?" ask "Did I remember that I'm already fully known?" It quiets the inner critic that tallies achievements.
Practical step: Write down three ways you are known by God that have nothing to do with output. Maybe you are a child, a friend, a created work of art. Refer to the list when self-doubt spikes.
