David wrote this Psalm in a time of great distress, feeling isolated and alone. Yet, in his desperation, he chose to wait on God, to trust that He would answer.
Waiting is not passive, it's active. It's choosing to trust that God is working, even when we can't see it, even when the room is empty and silent.
