Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.

Scrolling through social media can feel like running a race you never signed up for. Everyone else seems to be winning, while you're left catching your breath.

The Apostle Paul knew a thing or two about comparison. He wrote Galatians from a place of frustration over people mixing up the gospel. He wanted to remind them to focus on their own journey instead of measuring themselves against others.

Notice the emphasis on testing your own actions. It's an invitation to look inward rather than sideways. You have your own unique path to follow. What matters is that you keep moving in your own direction.

When the comparison monster creeps in, remember: it often distorts what you see. Social media is curated, a highlight reel. Your day-to-day life is real, and that's enough.

God, I find myself racing against others and forgetting that you made me for my own journey. Help me to appreciate my path and my progress. Teach me to celebrate others without losing sight of who you created me to be. Amen.
