Psalm 56:3
(NIV)“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Context
David wrote under real threat. The verse assumes fear is already present. Trust is a response inside being scared, not a prize for never feeling it.
For your life
Say the line as written: "When I am afraid..." then take one trust-shaped action within a minute. Text a safe person, put both feet on the floor, or step outside. Let the verse name the scare before it tries to erase it.
